I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel nestled in the heart of nature. The location in the forest was truly enchanting, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. It was a perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff attending to my every need. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, and a comfortable sitting area. I particularly enjoyed the terrace where I could soak up the peaceful atmosphere and admire the beautiful surroundings.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

The staff was great. The restaurant was tremendos and the facilities were very comforatble.

Not having hte internet in the rooms. A minor item but since I was travelling on business it would have been nice to have been able to not have to take all my papers to the lobby area. But as I said this was minor.

Location, fresh air, service, facility, food, staff, price are reasonable and good.

The hotel is located 6 km from the Center of Ilmenau. Your Co on the site promised 1,2 km from the center. The Hotel does not have a Shuttle. I have to order only taxi. The cost was about 25 euro per day. It is series hotel`s weaknesses. The solutions: Shuttle or discount.

Situated in the stunning Thuringian forest, this hotel offers a peaceful and beautiful location with many hiking trails. the rooms are comfortable with lovely views of the mountains beyond. the breakfast buffet is extensive and includes freshly squeezed orange juice, while the dinner menu offers delicious traditional regional dishes. the hotel has ample parking and free Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Some of the staff may be a bit uncommunicative and silent, which may be uncomfortable for some guests.

Lovely historic touch, spacious room, delicious regional dishes, great swimming and sauna, good value for money, surrounded by jungle.

Good breakfast, peaceful location. Had a decent breakfast here and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. the hotel is also located conveniently, not too far from where I needed to be for business.

Poor Wi-Fi, limited amenities. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was subpar, making it difficult for me to get work done in my room.

Spent Easter weekend at a lush hotel surrounded by greenery. The setting was perfect for relaxation with hiking trails nearby. Loved the rustic feel of the rooms and the authentic vibe of the breakfast room that added a sense of history to the whole experience. The homemade regional dishes on offer added to the authenticity.

The amenities were mediocre with no spa and wellness facilities. Though the location was secluded, it was difficult to get to, which could be inconvenient for some.
